Thankfully, in the DS Deathly Hallows, Hermione is swift to the task of door-opening which makes things much more enjoyable.

Now, in the 360/Ps3 version of the game, Hermione took painfully long to do this, it was just silly. Hermione's special ability is opening locked gates. I found it a bit odd at first, but I quite liked it after a while. The way you make use of these spells is by tracing a pattern on the bottom screen of the DS, which is something a bit different. So, while Harry assembles objects to be moved and placed on switches, for example - Ron can move light from one lamp to another to trigger the a door or gate to open - and often you'll need to protect him while he does this.

You'll always be travelling in pairs, because this game can actually be played in co-op which is great. Each character is equipped with their own spells that you'll need to use and combine to solve the puzzles in the game and get through each area. Gameplay is really what it should be, here. before finally arriving at Gringotts Bank. The first few areas you'll take on will be escaping Malfoy's and avoiding death eaters in Diagon Alley. In this game the story actually begins where the previous film ended - in the Malfoy Manour squaring off against Bellatrix. Indeed, so it was with great trepidation that we picked up the DS version. We were soooo disappointed because we're huge Harry fans and the potter world should - and has - made for some great games. It should be encased in the Chamber of Games so Bad no amount of spells should release it. And it's only a little over four hours long! FOUR HOURS!! It's a boring cover-shooter with all the fun bits played out in cut scenes. In the pile of terribad movie time in games - this one is at the very top. or AT THIS VERY MOMENT is writing it at the top of their birthday wish list. We have to say something about it tho Bajo - there might be a spawnling out there about to splurge all their pocket money on it. The 360 and PS3 versions of the game are actually rated M, so we can't show them here on Spawn Point but we did check them out over on adult Good Game. As usual, movie tie-in games have been released alongside the films and we've had a look at both the Xbox 360 and the DS versions. so here is your official SPOILER WARNING.ĭobby promises he will hide not hide his Ocarina in this review, so you are safe to leave the room. If you're a Harry Potter fan, you've probably seen the film by now - the final installment in the whole story, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - but just in case you haven't we'll be talking about it and we'd hate to spoil that for you. No - it's time for the Deathly Hallows Part 2 review. It is time now, Spawnlings, to learn mastery over the Dark Arts. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2
